GBHI ACADEMY 2010 NEWS

GBHI Academy News Thanks to all of you for the fantastic interest in this year’s GBHI Academy, we have now delivered the first round of training for all age groups. So many of you are asking about our plans for TORHs and NARCh, that we feel we should give you more information and an idea of costs. TORHs will take place between 2-11 July in Detroit at the Taylor Sportsplex NARCh will take place between 16 July -1 August in San Jose at the Silver Creek Sportsplex Remember each age group plays in blocks according to level eg A, AA, Gold etc, so players would not be expected to be there for the entire time. Our policy is still to offer the best value trip, so as last year you can book your own flight and accommodation if you wish, but to give you an estimate of cost please see below:-

TORHs direct flight to Detroit, hotel (such as Four Points by Sheraton, Holiday Inn) and hire car – assuming 4 sharing cost is £822 pp for 10 days NARCh direct flight to San Francisco, hotel (such as Fairmont San Jose or Dolce Hayes Mansion), hire car – assuming 4 sharing cost is £1014 pp for 14 days TORHs and NARCh as above i.e. direct flights LHR to Detroit, Detroit to San Francisco, San Francisco to LHR –assuming 4 sharing cost is £1195 pp for 22 days

When we have the block schedules for both competitions we can customise the trip to suit each family, so the costs above are an indication of likely prices.

This represents great value for what can only be described as 2 of the best roller hockey tournaments in the world. Are you up for the challenge?

GHBI welcomes all its registered players to attend Academy training, after your first training session each player will be notified of their Academy status – so if you haven’t attended yet please contact gbhiacademy@yahoo.co.uk
